The Naryu Empire became a battleground to hold back the invading demons from the Dark Realm, and was blighted during the Four Guardian’s fight against the great corrupted energy. We know there are a lot of thirsty people in the area and we can't wait to see what happens when we fully dive in at the Wexford Taproom. The Southern Continent’s mainland was once the proud heart of civilization, where the mighty Naryu Empire stood uncontested for centuries. We've had a toe in the North Hills, sending Cinderlands beer to bars, restaurants, and bottle shops, as well as a super successful home delivery service in 2020. Many of the plants here require fire to split open their seedpods, and in the summer, wildfires race across the badlands in vast sheets of flame ignited by the. Everything revolves around serving Cinderlands draft beer behind the bar and sending you off with cans, bottles, and merch to-go. The Cinderlands take up the majority of the southern Storval Plateau, its dry, ashen soil approaching desert status in many places. We offer a grab-and-go menu made by the talented kitchen team at our other locations, but there's no kitchen here. The Wexford Taproom is a stripped down version of the Cinderlands experience, hyper-focused on our beer. If you're familiar with our Warehouse and Foederhouse locations, you already know what we're about: thoughtfully conceived and expertly made, but un-fussy beer, food, and service for today's Pittsburgh. We capture the evolving spirit of the IPA even as we hearken back to the lagers and ales that took the world by storm. A large wave pool and surf park is planned for the base of Coral Mountain, shown lit by the morning sun last week, in La Quinta. Inhabitants Gargoyles Bands of savage gargoyles have long made their home on the Storval Plateau. Varisians The wandering cousins of the Shoanti occasionally make their way through the Cinderlands, always either on their way somewhere else, or just to say they've been.Cinderlands Taproom - Wexford is our third brick and mortar location. This wasteland of ash and sand seems an unlikely place to find any life, but it is home to a number of peoples and creatures who brave the emberstorms and heat. Oakshade Village is the first large-ish village encountered in the Cinderlands. The flames of the land have long held a place in the faith and traditions of these warlike barbarians, most noticeably in the fearless charges of the burn riders and in the rite of passage all quah members must face: the Burn Run. Shoanti The Shoanti tribes of the Sklar-Quah wander the Cinderlands, preying upon the lands' deadly predators and following migrating aurochs. Fearful of the deadly land, they rarely linger for long, yet it's not uncommon to find the charred remains of orcs who were unable to outrun an emberstorm. Orcs Raiders from the Hold of Belkzen and brutes from Urglin frequently prey upon the same animals as the native Shoanti, and upon the Shoanti themselves. In the Cinderlands particularly, the ashen and brick-colored gargoyles of the Ashwing tribe soar from aerie to aerie, snatching up whatever meals they can and taking wing when the fires of the land grow too near. The burning plains of the Storval Plateau are perhaps the most inhospitable locations in all of Varisia.
